The Immigration Place Project.
The Immigration Place Project, will be a Landmark Monument built within the Parliamentary Triangle, near The Australian Archives in Canberra, to commemorate the contributions of migrants to Australia.
“We are keen to create a living monument to immigration, one where people can see, hear and experience the stories of our migrant community and reflect on how they have enriched our culture and our community,” General O'Donnell said.
The monument will be interactive and will include the name, year of arrival and country of origin of over 200,000 migrants.
The Tramountanas-North Association Inc. on behalf of descendants and our supporters, has registered the names of George Tramountanas and Lydia Vosper, to be displayed at the Immigration Monument. To see the certificates, click on the name below.
